Helmut Schleppi (Creator, Director, DP, Executive Producer)
Helmut grew up on an island in the rainforest on the border between Surinam and French Guyana, South America. His parents were missionaries. After years of running his own production company and traveling the planet as a documentary film maker, Helmut moved to LA. There he directed and co-produced 'A Foreign Affair' (aka DVD title: 2 Brothers & a Bride), followed by the feature-length music documentary 'Last Dispatch', which he directed. For 'The Interior', Helmut moved his family to Panama where his wife home-schooled their four kids. They lived in a pink house on the beach from January until May.
